Why partner with us?

Discovering, developing and commercialising new tailored and well tolerated treatments for children and young people with cancer is a challenging ambition. It’s clear that this mission cannot be realised alone.

Together we’ve reached a critical milestone of £37M (USD $50M) committed in resource and funding.

But to be sustainable as a therapeutic discovery initiative and meet our ambition, we need new partners to join the consortium and provide additional funding and capabilities.

Partners-02

Working together as a consortium, we aim to develop a pipeline of novel pre-clinical therapeutics using diverse modalities across a range of childhood cancer indications. We're actively engaging with thought leaders across the ecosystem on key challenges such as:

  • how to overcome the downstream challenges of funding clinical development

  • commercialisation of new therapies where there are fewer financial incentives for the biopharmaceutical industry to take on these projects

By partnering with us you'll help increase the chance that more effective treatments with fewer side effects reach children and young people with cancer sooner.

Who can get involved?

We’re seeking partnerships with anyone interested in improving outcomes for children and young people with cancer.

This includes research institutions, universities, specialist hospitals, research funders, biopharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations, charities, impact investors, philanthropists, foundations, family offices, regulatory experts, economists, think tanks and more.

Are you a research institution, university, specialist hospital or company with therapeutic opportunities, expertise or capabilities?

Does your biopharmaceutical company or contract research organisation bring capabilities that could accelerate or enable projects through in kind contributions?

Are you a charity, impact investor, philanthropist, foundation or family office interested in accelerating the discovery and development of new therapeutics for children and young people affected by cancer?

Are you a regulatory expert, economist or think tank that can drive collective action and help us improve the pathway for novel therapeutics into the clinic?

Working in partnership and considering the whole lifecycle from drug discovery through to approval is critical to developing new treatments for cancers affecting children and young people. C-Further aims to do this by gathering like-minded organisations around the world and pooling their knowledge, capabilities and funding in order to progress new therapeutics for this unmet need.
